## Description

Adyen is looking for a Head of Hardware Partnerships to serve as the strategic thought leader of its global hardware agenda.

You will sit at the intersection of Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams to define a hardware strategy that transforms how merchants interact with their customers in the physical world.

Responsibilities:

- Set the Global Hardware Agenda: Define the long-term roadmap for Adyen's physical presence with product's support and ensure partners are helping achieve that vision.

- Lead Complex Ecosystem Commercials: Own the end-to-end commercial lifecycle with critical global hardware partners.

- Bridge Product & Market Needs: Collaborate with Product Management to ensure hardware capabilities align with the software ecosystem.

- Scale Global Expansion: Lead the strategy for hardware certification and distribution in new markets.

- Drive Partner-Led Innovation: Advocate for Adyen's merchants by pushing hardware partners to integrate specific features.

Requirements:

- A Strategic Leader: 5-10 years of experience leading hardware partnerships or product strategy in payments, point-of-sale, or consumer electronics.

- Customer-Obsessed: A 'product-first' mindset with experience understanding merchant operational challenges.

- An Industry Influencer: Ability to influence the C-suite of global hardware manufacturers.

- Operationally Rigorous: Understanding of hardware complexities, including lead times and certifications.

- Clear Communicator: Ability to distill complex technical trade-offs into simple strategic choices.

Location & Work Expectations:

- Based in New York

- Office-first company with some international travel required

Compensation:

- Base salary range: 258-375k plus RSUs
