## Description

At Ford Motor Company, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of transportation as the Supply Chain Manager for Fasteners & Exterior Commodities. You will lead commercial negotiations, manage critical supplier relationships, and optimize costs. This position is ideal for a strategic thinker with strong analytical capabilities and exceptional negotiation, written and verbal skills who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced and collaborative environment.

**Responsibilities**

- Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation:

Conduct sourcing activities to deliver quality parts at the best material cost within program timing requirements. Understand upcoming program sourcing and key milestones. Align with the Category Manager on supplier bid lists. Develop supplier strategies based on Category Manager input. Possess effective presentation skills to executive leadership. Provide feedback to valued supply partners on cost position relative to market. Support Quality initiatives by holding suppliers accountable.

- Business Plan Development:

Develop and execute negotiations strategies to deliver material efficiencies and minimize inflationary costs. Develop material cost roadmaps that deliver corporate objectives. Work with the strategic Category Manager, Global Commodity Team, and Product Development. Understand and set cost savings goals to achieve annually. Possess effective presentation skills to executive leadership. Lead supplier Quarterly Business Reviews.

- Supply Continuity and Support:

Provide support to the Critical Supply Team and Supplier Technical Assistance. Work with engineering to identify alternative technologies or sources of supply.

- Other Responsibilities:

Ad hoc travel as required to supply partners. Be a leader and look for process improvements. Accountable to work closely with others to meet deadlines with excellence. Attend internal and external workshops with key stakeholders. Hold effective working-level meetings with Supply partners.

**Qualifications**

- Bachelor's Degree

- 3+ years of experience in procurement, preferably within the Automotive industry

- 3+ years of manufactured commodities and manufacturing processes experience
