## Description

We are seeking an Associate to join our team in a full-time, permanent role at one of our offices.

As an Associate, you will work within one of our practice groups, providing high-quality advice to clients on complex matters, both domestically and internationally. You will also collaborate with colleagues from the Freshfields Lab to develop innovative products that combine law and technology.

Key responsibilities include:

- Advising and supporting clients on demanding mandates

- Working with colleagues from the Freshfields Lab to design and implement technology-based solutions for clients at the intersection of law and technology

- Assisting in the introduction and scaling of these solutions

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A law degree completed with above-average results

- Excellent written and spoken English skills

- Entrepreneurial thinking and creative problem-solving abilities

- Strong technical expertise and experience in areas such as AI engineering, machine learning, natural language processing, and data analytics

- Proficiency in programming languages like Python or JavaScript/TypeScript

- Experience with AI-powered coding tools

- A passion for developing innovative solutions and exploring new approaches

- Enjoyment of working with interdisciplinary teams and directly with clients

- Experience in technical functions, knowledge of modern API architectures, cloud platforms, or DevOps practices are desirable but not essential
