### Manager, Actuarial

We are looking for an Actuarial Manager for Commercial and Medicare Dental Business to provide actuarial reserving, experience review, forecasting and pricing support.

#### Responsibilities

- Leads Commercial Dental valuation decisions and financial performance reviews that cover all local markets across the nation

- Works independently and cross-functionally with the Finance team to complete Commercial Dental monthly reserving process, monthly financial close, and quarterly premium deficiency reserves, planning and forecasting process

- Works independently and cross-functionally with the Market teams and Network team to complete monthly experience review, experience studies and monthly Network Discount review for the Medicare dental and Commercial business

- Provide actuarial pricing, analysis, and strategic support for the Medicare Advantage Bid process

- Serves as primary point of contact and subject matter expert for Dental related issues with a wide audience including peers within AETNA and external consulting firms.

#### Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree along with a minimum of 3+ years of relevant healthcare experience with:

- Strong technical, analytical, and financial skills

- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

- Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA), or demonstrated progress toward actuarial credentials

#### Preferred Qualifications

- Prior Commercial pricing/rating system/forecasting experience

- Prior Dental and Vision experience

#### Education

- Bachelor's degree required

- $101,970.00 - $203,940.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
