## Description

Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Grand Island and Hastings. The successful candidate will work full-time, 35-40 hours per week, assisting patients with therapy activities and exercises under the supervision of a physical therapist.

**Responsibilities:**

- Assist patients/residents/clients with therapy activities and exercises scheduled in a treatment plan

- Select, implement, and modify therapeutic activities and interventions consistent with demonstrated competency levels and patient goals

- Provide, monitor, and record therapy services to patients/residents/clients with physical, cognitive, developmental impairments

- Contribute to the process of exchanging information with and providing documentation to the physical therapist about patient responses to and communications during intervention

**Requirements:**

- Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure

- Graduate of an approved American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) program as a Physical Therapist Assistant

- Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state(s) of practice

- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of employment
