## Description

We are seeking a Customer Assistant to join our team on a fixed-term basis, working nights in our Gillingham store.

As a Customer Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our store is ready for the day ahead, providing excellent customer service, and supporting our team to deliver a great shopping experience.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare the store for the day ahead by filling shelves and restocking products

- Maintain a clean and tidy workspace, including aisles and stock areas

- Collect and move stock safely from the warehouse to the shopfloor

- Work across different parts of the store, including chilled and frozen areas

- Use equipment, handsets, and digital systems to complete tasks accurately and safely

- Provide support to colleagues in other areas when needed

Requirements:

- Friendly and welcoming with a genuine enthusiasm for delivering excellent customer service

- Ability to work in a physically demanding role, adapting to the disruption of working overnight

- Committed team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment

- Flexibility and willingness to work across the store and take on new challenges
