## Description

The Category Strategy Support Lead plays a key role in developing and communicating category strategies that align with business goals, value creation, risk mitigation, and supply chain optimisation.

**Key Accountabilities**

- Partner with Category Managers, team members, and suppliers to develop and implement category strategies.

- Support category planning through market analysis, demand planning, and organisational change.

- Develop presentations, reports, and communications to drive stakeholder alignment and decision-making.

- Handle tactical categories and support end-to-end category delivery and value creation.

- Monitor category performance, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Standardise category processes, templates, and sourcing practices.

- Identify efficiency, cost optimisation, and value creation opportunities.

- Lead supplier performance through reviews, improvement plans, and risk assessments.

- Build strong supplier relationships and ensure contract and service compliance.

- Collaborate with business, finance, legal, and procurement teams to resolve supplier issues.

- Support contract management, dispute resolution, and supplier risk mitigation.

- Maintain and optimise SAP Ariba buying channels, catalogues, and category content.

- Ensure procurement compliance through effective controls, monitoring, and risk management.

**Essential Education**

- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Business, or equivalent experience.

- 6–8 years demonstrated ability in Indirect Procurement.

- Experience working in a global, multicultural environment.

- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
