## Description

Samsara is looking for an Associate Sales Engineer to join their team in the US, specifically in the TOLA region (Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas). As a Sales Engineer at Samsara, you will be part of a diverse group of technically-minded folks working together to bring their unique connected operations technology to customers.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline, and 1+ years of experience working with customers in a pre-sales or support capacity.

Responsibilities:

- Become an expert on Samsara products, including IoT, AI, and computer vision

- Demonstrate quick and efficient discovery to understand customer needs and answer technical questions

- Be highly available for standard demo/account coverage and temporary technical expertise across the entire Samsara Sales Team

- Understand how Samsara devices are installed and be able to explain to prospects over the phone

- Educate customers on technical aspects of APIs and be able to deploy scripts leveraging the Samsara API to a testing environment on demand

- Act as a liaison between Samsara's product and sales teams, translating technical feedback and enrolling customers in beta programs
