## Description

We're seeking a part-time Pharmacy Colleague to join our team in Shrewsbury. You will be employed in this role subject to passing an enhanced safeguarding check.

Our stores operate 24/7, offering a range of shift patterns to accommodate your lifestyle. Weekend working is a requirement, and we may need flexibility with your work pattern.

As a Pharmacy Colleague, you will provide excellent customer service, assemble and process prescriptions accurately, and promote additional services offered by our Pharmacy, such as Prescription Collection Service and Medicines Use Reviews. You will support the Pharmacist with patient services, maintain accurate records, and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures.

In this role, you will also collect prescriptions from doctors' surgeries on behalf of customers and bring them to the store for collection. We will support your development through an accredited course to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within six months, followed by training as a Dispensing Assistant.

**Responsibilities:**

- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to queries and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner

- Accurately assemble and process prescriptions, maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity when handling sensitive information

- Promote additional services offered by our Pharmacy, driving awareness and uptake among customers

- Support the Pharmacist with patient services, including blood pressure checks and stop-smoking schemes

- Maintain accurate records and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures

- Collect prescriptions from doctors' surgeries on behalf of customers

- Friendly and approachable demeanour, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Highly organised, with attention to detail and ability to multitask

- Good computer skills, with ability to learn and adapt to new systems
