## Description

The Banking & Loan Finance Department at Hogan Lovells is seeking an associate with 3–5+ years of relevant experience in complex financing transactions with bespoke collateral structures.

The associate will work with leading banks, alternative lenders, insurance companies, sponsors, asset managers, and other institutional clients on highly structured and bespoke domestic and cross-border transactions involving private equity, secondaries, private credit, infrastructure, real estate, and other alternative investment strategies.

Responsibilities include:

- Working on fund finance, including NAV financings, hybrid facilities, CFOs, rated note feeders, back-leverage facilities, and management fee facilities

- Handling asset-based lending, intercreditor arrangements, and distressed situations

- Familiarity with derivatives, secondary loan and equity transactions, or structured products is helpful

Requirements:

- Excellent academic credentials

- Strong drafting and analytical skills

- Solid law firm legal experience

- Excellent client communication and organisational skills

- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and work collaboratively

- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and admission to the New York Bar

The expected base salary range for this role is $260,000 to $365,000 per year.
