The Air Dominance & Strike (AD&S) team is responsible for autonomous robotics systems like the Fury unmanned fighter jet and the Barracuda family of advanced effects. The AD&S Vehicle Software team develops software for vehicle control, networking, sensor integration, and telemetry.

We are looking for a Robotics Software Integration Engineer, Mission Autonomy to build the foundational vehicle software stack that supports the wide range of AD&S initiatives.

**Responsibilities**

- Develop software for vehicle control, networking, sensor integration, and telemetry

- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to design and implement software

- Architect software test plans and implement verification strategies with a strong emphasis on automated tests

- Work with requirements management, risk-based testing approaches, defect tracking, and configuration control

**Requirements**

- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience

- 4+ years of experience in software testing or related technical experience

- Experience with requirements-based verification and implementation of verification strategies with a strong emphasis on automated tests

- Extensive knowledge of software development, processes, and verification tools, such as C/C++, Python

- Track record of architecting software test plans in the Aerospace and Defense space

- In-depth knowledge of requirements management, risk-based testing approaches, defect tracking, and configuration control

**Preferred Qualifications**

- Experience standing up automated hardware-in-the-loop testing infrastructure

- Functional knowledge of mission autonomy for collaborative platforms, including crewed/uncrewed teaming and formation flight

- Knowledge of data fusion from multiple sensor and track sources, with understanding of distributed fusion principles
