## Description

Leidos' Defence Systems Land Systems Business Area, RF Systems Division is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team in King of Prussia, PA. The successful candidate will operate and maintain a complex radar system, working closely with Leidos engineers to identify issues and implement repairs or replacements at remote facilities.

**Primary Responsibilities:**

- Install, integrate, configure, and maintain a complex radar system

- Assemble and troubleshoot electronic systems, mechanical parts, and cable harnesses

- Perform system integration and checkout of modified and repaired equipment

- Analyze equipment failures and recommend corrective actions

- Prepare and submit reports, devise preventive maintenance programs, and maintain performance records

- Keep accurate inventory records and be self-motivated to work effectively in a team environment and under minimal supervision

- Travel and work long hours in adverse weather conditions, and obtain tower climber certification

**Basic Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of experience in electronics system installation and maintenance

- Formal training in Basic Electronics & Electricity, RF, Digital & Analog principles, and solid-state electronics

- Experience with testing, troubleshooting, and evaluating digital, analog, and RF level electronics

- Understanding of military communications systems, encryption devices, and basic computer network principles

- Proficiency with standard test equipment, personal computers, and Microsoft Office Suite

- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand, walk, sit, bend, kneel, climb ladders and stairs, and work in small areas

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET clearance; US Citizenship is required

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Working knowledge of computer networking fundamentals, CompTIA Security+ certification, and proficiency with Linux operating system environment

- Experience handling and maintaining COMSEC equipment, tower climbing, and HVAC maintenance and repair

- Active DoD Secret clearance is highly preferred

The pay range for this position is $59,150.00 - $106,925.00.
