## Description

We are seeking an Associate, Application Engineer III to build scalable financial desktop applications and web applications. You will utilize fixed income and equity trading domain strategies to build order and execution workflows. You will also partner with product management to determine functional and non-functional requirements, design product roadmaps, and develop release timelines.

Responsibilities:

- Build scalable financial desktop applications and web applications that are performant, scalable, and distributed

- Utilize fixed income and equity trading domain strategies to build order and execution workflows

- Develop client-facing financial applications for fixed income trading using React, Typescript, HTML, SCSS, Redux, and Jotai

- Partner with product management to determine functional and non-functional requirements, design product roadmaps, and develop release timelines

- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to design automated, manual, and dev testing workflows

- Deploy production code to live client environments

- Provide operational support including solving client issues and participating in client calls

- Mentor junior engineers from a technical and professional perspective

- Organize meetings according to the Agile methodology and SDLC

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or a related field

- Three years of experience as an Associate, Analyst or a related role

- Experience with React, Typescript, State management frameworks, HTML, CSS, Sass, Git, AquaDataStudio, ADO, and Agile methodologies

- Experience with Java 17, SQL, and GraphQL

- Experience with data streaming tools, frontend testing frameworks, and financial products and tools
