- Assisting with periodic global and/or entity audits

- Supporting the implementation of data governance and AI governance frameworks

To thrive in this role, you will be a self-starter and a great influencer and communicator. You will be comfortable working in grey areas and making judgement calls at speed. You will be obsessed with detail and happy handling competing priorities and differences of opinion.

You will have:

- Significant exposure to privacy and AI issues in the UK and Europe, with an emphasis on the use of EU/UK data in sophisticated market scenarios

- Experience in privacy by design and data protection impact assessments, including for AI initiatives

- Experience in drafting and negotiating privacy-related contracts and developing compliance and auditing frameworks

- Admitted to practice law in the UK or a European jurisdiction with at least 4 years of PQE experience in advising on privacy matters

- A problem-solving attitude, with the ability to use regulation together with data to drive business decisions

- Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to deepen relationships and build partnerships across the business, including in operations, engineering, and risk

- Comfortable taking the initiative and working across multiple business lines and jurisdictions

- An understanding of digital and consumer-focused businesses, including new and developing businesses, is also advantageous

- Ability to drive and deliver projects from inception to completion, timely and with attention to detail
