## Description

As a Customer Assistant on nights at Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd in Portsmouth, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the store runs smoothly. You will be responsible for getting the store ready for the day ahead by filling shelves, maintaining a tidy workspace, collecting and moving stock safely, and using equipment and digital systems to complete tasks.

The ideal candidate will be friendly and welcoming, with a genuine enthusiasm for delivering excellent customer service. They will be able to work in a physically demanding role, be a committed team player, and be open to learning and developing new skills.

**Responsibilities:**

- Preparing the store for the day ahead by filling shelves and maintaining a tidy workspace

- Collecting and moving stock safely from the warehouse to the shopfloor

- Using equipment, handsets, and digital systems to complete tasks accurately and safely

- Helping in other areas when needed, such as picking online orders or serving customers at checkouts
