## Description

As a Director on the Studio Developer team at BlackRock, you will operate as an enterprise leader responsible for setting product strategy, driving cross-platform outcomes, and ensuring delivery at scale.

You will lead Studio Developer, Aladdin's platform for extending and automating workflows, shaping how users build, adapt, and run custom workflows in a governed, enterprise-ready way, while leading large, complex initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders to translate vision into measurable client and commercial impact.

The ideal candidate is an enterprise leader who can set direction and drive alignment across Product, Engineering, Sales, and senior stakeholders. You should be accountable for outcomes, with a strong bias for action and delivery at scale, and deeply client-oriented, with the ability to translate client needs into strategic product decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

- Setting and evolving the vision for Studio Developer as Aladdin's extensibility layer

- Driving platform adoption and scale, partnering closely with BlackRock and other key users

- Leading and developing a high-performing, cross-functional team

- Establishing and driving platform standards and long-term direction

- Providing platform and technical leadership across governance, transparency, and controls

- Translating internal success into client adoption

Requirements include:

- 12+ years of experience in product, platform, or technology roles

- Strong technical foundation, with prior experience in software engineering or a related technical discipline

- Experience leading platform or developer-facing products

- Proven ability to lead across teams, align multiple stakeholders, and balance near-term delivery with long-term platform direction

- Strong commercial and client orientation

- Deep understanding of developer platforms, including APIs, SDKs, and deployment in a governed enterprise environment

- Familiarity with modern developer workflows and AI-assisted tooling

- Strong relationship management and executive communication skills

In terms of compensation, for New York, NY, the salary range for this position is USD$215,000.00 - USD$275,000.00. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
