This role is designed for candidates who want to be at the forefront of the evolution of portfolio management,where investment judgment is increasingly augmented by data, automation, and AI-driven workflows.

BlackRock’s Fixed Income platform is evolving toward a more technology-driven, AI-native portfolio management model. We are seeking an Associate-level Multi-Sector Portfolio Manager who combines strong investment fundamentals with the ability to apply data, automation, and emerging AI capabilities to real portfolio management workflows.

**Your Responsibilities:**

**Portfolio Management**

- Support the management of multi-sector fixed income portfolios across institutional and ETF mandates

- Assist with portfolio construction, positioning, and trade implementation

- Monitor portfolio performance, risk exposures, and attribution

**AI & Workflow-Enabled Investing**

- Apply AI tools and data-driven workflows to enhance:

- portfolio monitoring

- risk identification

- reporting and analytics

- Partner with senior PMs and technology teams to improve how investment decisions are generated and executed

- Contribute to initiatives focused on automation and scaling of investment processes

**Process & Platform Improvement**

- Identify inefficiencies and contribute to improving portfolio management workflows

- Support integration of new tools and analytics into platforms such as Aladdin

- Help scale best practices across portfolios and teams

**You Have**

- 2–5 years of experience in asset management, trading, or investment analytics

- Strong understanding of fixed income markets (multi-sector preferred)

- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills

- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams

- Demonstrated ability to apply data and/or AI concepts to real-world workflows

- Experience with Python, SQL, or data tools and dashboards or analytical reporting

- Strong interest in how AI and automation are changing investment processes

- BA/BS required

- Progress toward CFA (or CFA charterholder) preferred
