Working as a Human Resources Expert at Target means being part of a team that champions change, proactively removes roadblocks, and builds diverse and inclusive talent strategies to deliver on the company's guest-centric mission.

The role involves creating an easy, inspiring, and friendly guest experience, supporting team efforts, and assisting peers in other areas while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude.

Responsibilities include:

- Working with HR leaders to anticipate and address specific talent and staffing needs

- Leading focused recruiting efforts to help store leaders find and hire candidates

- Supporting team member and leader training needs and advocating for continuous learning

- Being an expert resource for scheduling systems and pay practices

- Delivering on all Human Resources processes and programs to maximize team member engagement and minimize business disruption

Requirements:

- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members

- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed

- Effective communication skills

- Ability to work both independently and with a team

- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes

- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes

The starting hourly rate is $18.00 USD per hour, with a pay range of $18.00 USD - $27.00 USD per hour.
