## Description

Argus Media is seeking a Tax Accountant to join their tax team in Mumbai. The successful candidate will handle international VAT/GST and tax compliance, and have the opportunity to grow quickly in a supportive, hybrid team.

The role involves:

- Preparing international indirect tax (VAT, GST, US Sales and Use tax) returns

- Analysing corporation tax and withholding tax administration

- Drafting responses to customer tax queries

- Managing accounts payable tax administration

- Reconciling balance sheet accounts

- Researching and administering e-invoicing

- Assisting the Head of International Tax with ad-hoc work

Requirements include:

- Being a qualified accountant with 2+ years of experience in indirect taxes

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Co-Pilot, and Power BI

- Experience working in a tax team for a large international organisation

- High accuracy and attention to detail

- Ability to identify and suggest process improvements

- Capacity to work under time pressure to meet deadlines
