## Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled RN Clinical Nurse II to join our team on 5 East Acute Care Oncology at UNC REX Healthcare.

As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team that includes Oncologists, Advance Practice Providers, and Palliative Care Providers to deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing patient-centered care to oncology patients at any point on the cancer continuum, from diagnosis through end of life support

- Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to evaluate patient care and develop plans of care

- Performing bedside point of care testing as required for patient care plans

- Utilizing healthcare organization and nursing standards, policies, and procedures in delivery of care

- Prioritizing care according to patient/family needs and consulting with resources as needed

Requirements:

- Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program

- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina

- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification

- One (1) year of nursing experience

We offer a competitive salary range of $34.22 - $48.38 per hour, plus incentives and benefits, including up to $20,000 commitment incentive or up to $25,000 tuition loan forgiveness, and up to $10,000 in relocation assistance.
