## Description

The City of London Corporation seeks an Operative Ranger to maintain the high standards of its open spaces, specifically West Heath. The successful candidate will ensure a safe and welcoming experience for visitors, engage with community groups, and upkeep green spaces and facilities.

**The Role:** As the frontline face of the open spaces, you will be critical to providing a safe and welcoming customer experience. Your responsibilities will include:

- Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the Heath

- Engaging with visitors and community groups

- Supporting existing teams in the upkeep of green spaces and facilities

**Requirements:**

- Full clean driving licence

- GCSE English and Maths

- NVQ or relevant experience

- Good understanding of Health & Safety within a work environment

- Relevant certification to operate machinery and tools

- Demonstrable experience working in a fast-paced open spaces environment or similar field

- Good communication skills and ability to follow company policies and procedures
