## Description

We are seeking an experienced FBS AS400/iSeries COBOL Developer with Guidewire & Java to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The successful candidate will have 9 years of total experience, with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

The Agile Dev Team Member will have collective responsibility for the design, development, testing, and deployment of system functionality. The ideal candidate will be proficient in AS400/iSeries development with COBOL, CL/CLP, Synon, SQL, SFTP, Guidewire, and Java.

Key responsibilities include:

- Designing, developing, testing, and deploying system functionality

- Providing guidance, mentorship, and training to direct reporting staff

- Ensuring systems are architecturally sound, high in code and component quality, and easily modified to support future requirements

- Analyzing and evaluating existing manual and computerized systems/procedures to improve efficiency

- Developing and executing tests early, often, and at multiple levels

The Agile Dev Team Member will also be expected to:

- Collaborate with the Product Owner to confirm the code and acceptance tests reflect the desired functionality

- Participate in key ceremonies to drive execution, improve flow, and ensure transparency

- Provide guidance to junior team members, when needed

- Plan work via the preparation for and participation in Program Increment (PI) Planning and Sprint Planning
