## Description

Electronic Arts is seeking a UI Software Engineer to work on the EA SPORTS UFC franchise. As a UI Software Engineer, you will maintain and extend existing User Interfaces, collaborating with the team to implement new features. You will work in multiple scripting languages such as Actionscript and LUA, with some experience in C++.

The EA SPORTS UFC team is located in Vancouver, British Columbia, and is working on becoming the world's greatest fighting game. The team works onsite 3 days a week in the Burnaby studio.

Key responsibilities include:

- Maintaining existing UI

- Collaborating to implement new features

- Testing, debugging, and verifying work to ensure performance, stability, and quality targets

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience

- 1-3 years of software engineering experience, preferably in the games industry or areas where performant user interfaces are used

- 1+ years of experience in object-oriented design and implementation

- Demonstrated knowledge of good software engineering practices

- Basic knowledge of C++

- Comfortable with scripting languages such as Python or LUA

Additional skills:

- Actionscript / Flash

- Experience in Unreal or Unity

- Experience in a Client/Server environment

- Experience in version control tools (Perforce, Git)

- Proven track record of integrating emerging AI technologies
