## Description

The Customer Proof of Concepts Engineer is an SE role responsible for developing, planning, designing, delivering, and coordinating Customer Proof of Concept Labs across various Cisco architectures and solutions.

**Responsibilities:**

- Project Management (10%): Identify and prioritize project tasks, organize and communicate project goals and objectives.

- Engineering (50%): Design, develop, document, and deliver content across Cisco architectures, including Enterprise Networking, Data Center, SD-WAN, Security, and Cloud.

- Platform Design (20%): Document and plan projects, use standard design templates and tools, and justify designs.

- Support (10%): Serve as the first point of contact for escalations, work with account teams, partners, and customers to ensure successful POC delivery.

- Other (5%): Work as a 3rd party liaison and independent content developer.

**Requirements:**

- CCNP/CCIE level or equivalent experience

- Multi-architecture Cisco experience

- AI-assisted engineering skills with tools like Claude Code and Cursor

- Strong Routing, Switching, and Security background

- Experience with Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN, Cisco Software Defined Access, and Cloud Networking

- Project management and time management abilities

**Desired Skills:**

- Automation, Splunk, and AI skills

- Programming and scripting skills in languages like Go, Python, Ruby, and Powershell

- Experience with Virtual Infrastructures, Test Tools, and Cisco Security products
