## Description

We are seeking an Incoming Quality Inspector to join our team. As an Incoming Quality Inspector, you will lead the planning and coordination of incoming parts receipt, serving as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and suppliers on receiving inspection matters.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the planning and coordination of incoming parts receipt

- Perform advanced inspection of incoming parts and serve as the team's subject-matter resource for interpreting purchase order line notes, quality notes, and technical requirements

- Oversee verification of part quantity, revision, and part number against packing lists and certificates of conformance

- Lead disposition of non-conforming material and return-to-vendor coordination for complex or high-impact cases

- Serve as the go-to resource for use of standard measuring equipment and specialized tooling

- Support and review work performed by suppliers on special processes

- Lead verification and labeling of shelf-life-controlled and hazmat material

- Assist the supervisor in training, delegating, and reviewing the work of other receiving and incoming quality inspectors

Requirements:

- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Comprehensive experience reviewing AS9100 quality systems and contract requirement documentation

- Advanced ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings

- Significant, demonstrated experience in a Quality Inspection role

- Deltek Costpoint software experience

- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required; typically, 3–5 years of electrical and mechanical incoming receiving inspection experience

Preferred Qualifications:

- Advanced J-STD-001 and J-STD-610 experience for electrical items

- Forklift license

- Advanced proficiency in mechanical inspection using height gauges and special tooling

- Prior experience serving as a team lead or shift lead in a quality inspection environment

Pay Range: $48,100.00 - $86,950.00
