## Description

We are seeking a Technical Lead to bridge business requirements and technology solutions for our Employee Benefit business. You will analyze, design, implement, and support systems that improve business efficiency and user experience.

**Key Accountabilities:**

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, and maintainable technology solutions

- Lead application design, development, testing, deployment, and support activities throughout the SDLC

- Ensure solution quality through effective design reviews, testing, documentation, and adherence to engineering standards

- Collaborate with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to deliver projects and enhancements successfully

- Participate in Agile delivery processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

- Drive adoption of DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and AI-assisted development practices to improve delivery efficiency and software quality

- Support production systems and ensure timely resolution of incidents and operational issues

- Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing support to team members and vendors

- Recommend solution designs, integration approaches, and implementation strategies that align with business objectives and enterprise standards

- Address communication gaps between product owners, designers, quality assurances, etc. to minimize the knowledge gap and deliver solutions with the right mutual understanding and logic

- Manage to achieve No "Unsatisfactory" result in compliance and security audit

- Manage to close identified improvement items in the compliance and security audit report within the timeline

**Qualifications / Experience:**

- Bachelor's degree or Higher Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline

- Minimum 5 years of application development experience

- Candidates with equivalent qualifications and relevant experience will also be considered

**Knowledge & Technical Skills:**

- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, RESTful API, and enterprise application development

- Strong understanding of database design, SQL, and application integration

- Understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and secure coding practices

- Familiarity with Agile software development lifecycle and engineering best practices

- Experience with source code management, code review, and quality assurance processes

- Good command in both written & spoken English or Cantonese (Mandarin)

**AI & Modern Engineering Skills:**

- Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar solutions) for code generation, code review, documentation, testing, and productivity improvement

- Ability to evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to improve delivery effectiveness and software quality

**Preferred Technical Skills:**

- Experience with front-end technologies such as React

- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP

- Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices

- Experience with workflow or BPM platforms such as Flowable

- Experience with event-driven or microservices architecture

- Experience with observability, monitoring, and performance optimization tools
