## Description

We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our Security Infrastructure team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure infrastructure systems that protect our customers' data. Your work will have a significant impact on the security and reliability of our platform.

Responsibilities:

- Design and implement secure infrastructure systems that protect our customers' data

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address security risks

- Develop and maintain secure coding practices and standards

- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code

- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and technologies

Requirements:

- 7+ years of experience in data security or related areas

- Expertise in two or more of the following: Cryptography, Kubernetes Security, Web Security, Governance, Privacy, Trust, Safety, Authentication, Identity Management, Access Control, Key Management, Inter-Service Authentication, Secure Application Frameworks, Detection & Response

- 10+ years of experience building large-scale distributed systems with high availability

- Leadership skills and experience to lead across functional and organizational lines

- Strong communication skills to explain and evangelize data security to senior leaders across the company

- Bias to action and passion for delivering high-quality solutions

- MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related fields

Pay Range Transparency:

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $190,900-$253,750 USD.
