## Description

We are seeking a Patient Administrator to join the team at Mount Alvernia Hospital in Guildford, part of Circle Health Group. This bank role involves working on an 'as and when required' basis to support staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff.

Responsibilities:

- Contribute to the smooth running of the patient administrative process throughout the patient journey

- Ensure Circle Health Group best practice process maps are followed to provide an efficient, professional, and standard service to patients, visitors, consultants, and staff

- Deal with patient queries efficiently and professionally

- Manage all incoming and outgoing mail

- Approve electronic bookings received via the relevant system and update any bookings received via email

- Maintain knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act and ensure appropriate measures are taken

Requirements:

- Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2

- Proficient in using a PC, including software and systems

- Basic financial awareness

- Previous administration experience in a private healthcare environment is beneficial
