## Description

We are seeking an experienced editor/journalist with a track record of breaking news and insights in energy and commodity sectors. The role involves writing, researching, data analysis, and visual storytelling, with a focus on energy trading, international energy policy, and geopolitics.

**Responsibilities:**

- Originate and author breaking news and insights in the energy sector

- Source and work with various data sets and report-based information

- Record short-form video reels explaining key energy issues and stories

- Collaborate with editors, writers, and price reporters

**Requirements:**

- Minimum 5 years of journalism experience in a newsroom

- Strong portfolio of breaking energy news and insights

- Technical skills: writing, editing, data analysis, source development, multi-media storytelling

- Comfort working with NewsPress content management systems

- Data journalism skills and ability to identify new data sets and trends

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
