## Description

Syneos Health is seeking a Senior Medical Writer to mentor and lead less experienced medical writers on complex projects. The successful candidate will act as a lead for assigned writing projects, manage medical writing activities, and develop a variety of documents including clinical journal manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and client presentations.

Responsibilities:

- Mentor and lead less experienced medical writers on complex projects

- Act as lead for assigned writing projects

- Manage medical writing activities associated with individual studies

- Develop or support a variety of documents, including clinical journal manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and client presentations

- Identify and propose solutions to resolve issues and questions arising during the writing process

- Review statistical analysis plans and table/figure/listing specifications

- Interact with department head and staff members in data management, biostatistics, regulatory affairs, and medical affairs

- Serve as peer reviewer on internal review team

- Adhere to established regulatory standards

- Perform online clinical literature searches

- Familiarity with figure-creation and data visualization software, including tools such as GraphPad Prism and Adobe Illustrator

- Maintain familiarity with current industry practices and regulatory requirements and guidelines

- Maintain awareness of budget specifications for assigned projects

- Complete required administrative tasks within specified timeframes

- Perform other work-related duties as assigned
