## Description

Join the Engineering team at Heathrow Airport Limited as a Supplier Operations Manager. You will lead commercial and supplier operations activity across Engineering, ensuring contracts deliver against safety, quality, performance, and financial objectives.

The Engineering team manages a vast range of assets worth £14bn, including mechanical, electrical, water, civil, rail, and environmental disciplines. As a Supplier Operations Manager, you will drive commercial awareness, manage budgets, identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and support the delivery of EBITDA targets.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading the commercial and operational governance of supplier contracts

- Driving financial performance across a £100m+ cost base

- Challenging supplier costs, contract delivery, and value for money

- Partnering with Engineering, Baggage, Finance, Procurement, and Capital teams to develop cost-saving initiatives

- Supporting contract procurement and retendering activities

- Leading and developing a team of Commercial Coordinators

Requirements include:

- Proven track record of delivering business improvement and change

- Strong commercial acumen and experience of driving commercial best practice

- Highly analytical problem-solving skills

- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills

- Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and financial performance

Ideal candidates will have:

- A degree qualification and/or membership of a relevant professional body

- Experience delivering compliance requirements within a complex operational environment

- Broad understanding of asset management and continuous improvement methodologies

- Strong leadership capability
