## Description

Discord is seeking a strategic Technical Sourcer to support complex engineering roles by activating passive candidates. As a Senior Technical Sourcer, you will partner with engineering leadership to conduct market intelligence, size talent pools, and execute sophisticated sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill technical roles.

Key Responsibilities:

- Partner with hiring managers and technical leaders to understand role requirements and develop effective sourcing criteria.

- Conduct comprehensive market research to size talent pools and inform realistic hiring timelines.

- Develop detailed job mapping strategies by analyzing competitor organizations and creating target account lists.

- Build and execute customized sourcing strategies using boolean search, x-ray techniques, and competitive intelligence.

- Identify and engage talent, and partner with recruiters and technical leaders to scale and optimize teams.

- Craft personalized outreach campaigns that articulate Discord's unique technical challenges.

- Own candidate experience from initial outreach through recruiter handoff.

- Represent Discord's brand at company events and technical conferences.

- Practice strong data hygiene and maintain rigorous pipeline health metrics.

Must Haves:

- 5+ years of experience in technical sourcing or recruitment.

- Demonstrated success hiring senior engineers and engineering managers.

- Strong technical aptitude and expert-level proficiency with boolean search techniques.

- Proficiency with modern sourcing tools and platforms.

- Expertise in market mapping and talent pool analysis.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Strong pipeline management capabilities.

- Data-driven mindset with ability to track and analyze key sourcing metrics.

The base salary range for this temporary full-time position is $132,000-$148,500 USD.
