## Description

Anduril is seeking a Composite Technician to collaborate with the design and integration teams developing AI-controlled aerospace structures at our Morrisville, NC location.

The Composite Technician will be responsible for cutting, laying up, fabricating, curing, and assembling various types of composite products and assemblies. This includes bonded and mechanically fastened assemblies.

Key responsibilities:

- Cut, lay-up, fabricate, cure, and assemble composite products and assemblies

- Apply knowledge of material physical properties, such as thermosets, thermoplastics, and composites

- Ensure accurate fitting and assembly of parts and subassemblies to exacting tolerances

- Build laminated assemblies by determining proper placement and laying up composite plies and adhesives

- Prepare parts for bagging and curing, and operate processing and curing equipment

- Set up and operate oven controls to achieve desired temperature, pressure, and time cycles

- Identify and correct defects as required

The role requires:

- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

- High school graduate or equivalent

Preferred qualifications include:

- 1-3 years of composite fabrication or equivalent experience

- Experience collaborating cross-functionally

- Strong communication and presentation skills

- A bias towards action

- Excellent customer service skills

- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
