The role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: - Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience - Ensure every team member understands, is trained, and consistently delivers on Target’s guest experience commitments and consistent operations - Actively observe and provide feedback, holding team members accountable while recognising great guest experience moments - Review area guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities, take action to improve, and align team on the right behaviours and execution - Demonstrate a service culture that prioritises the guest service experience - Lead your team and drive fulfilment goals, understand your role in supporting sales growth and how your departments and team contribute to and impact total store profitability - Utilise your workload planning tools to ensure your team completes all scheduled workload and all orders are fulfilled to meet the delivery, freshness, and service standards - Review all fulfilment reporting to identify gaps and develop a plan to resolve - With direction from your direct leader, create daily plans for your team - Be an expert of operations, accuracy, process and efficiency - Enable efficient delivery to our guests by leading pickup and ship from store workload - Evaluate and recommend candidates for open positions and develop a guest-centric team - Establish clear goals around quality, accuracy, and timeliness and hold team members accountable to expectations - Ensure the team is following food safety guidelines and selecting fresh food items for guests - Ensure supplies are ordered timely and stocked - If applicable, as a key carrier, follow all safe and secure training and processes - Occasionally assume store-level leadership on duty (LOD) responsibilities to enable the guest experience for the store during assigned shifts - Demonstrate inclusivity by valuing diverse voices and approaches, being authentic and respectful, and creating equitable experiences - Always demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance - Lead and demonstrate a safety culture through modelling and recognising safe behaviours, identifying and correcting hazards, holding team accountable to following safety expectations - Model the execution of physical security processes in order to enhance the in-store security culture - Support merchandise protection strategies across the total store - Lead and demonstrate a culture of executing all best practices as outlined with team onboarding and learning - Address all store emergency and compliance needs - Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive up (DU) Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Must be at least 18 years of age or older - Previous retail experience preferred, but not required - Lead and hold others accountable - Learn and adapt to current technology needs - Work independently and as part of a team - Manage workload and prioritise tasks independently - Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members - Effective communication skills Benefits: - Comprehensive health benefits and programs - 401(k) - Employee discount - Short term disability - Long term disability - Paid sick leave - Paid national holidays - Paid vacation ## Skills ### Required - leadership - communication - team management - operations - safety - compliance ### Nice to have - retail experience - technology skills --- Source: [Apply at target.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com](https://target.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/en-US/targetcareers/job/1415-Main-St-WatsonvilleCA-95076-3755/Fulfillment-Operations-Team-Leader_R0000479456?utm_source=yubhub.co&utm_medium=jobs_feed&utm_campaign=apply)
