## Description

Challenge Preparatory Charter School seeks a Data, Information, and Assessment Systems Specialist to report to the Secondary School Principal and Senior Director of Secondary Teaching and Learning. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing, organizing, and analyzing data to support student achievement.

## Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Serve as a member of the school's leadership team

- Collaborate with the school-wide Data and Information Systems Specialist

- Manage the Student Information System (PowerSchool)

- Serve as liaison between the school and identity management consulting company

- Provide support for school teams with implementing and using educational platforms/programs

- Design, create, and implement internally-created assessments

- Collect, sort, analyze, and present scholar academic data

- Plan and facilitate data days and professional learning opportunities

- Review and present K-5 data in various formats

- Assist with GradeBook, Progress Reports, Report Cards, and ongoing student achievement data collection

- Develop and maintain user roles and permissions within education technology platforms

- Collaborate with school-based Ops team to ensure proper setup and protocols for data entry

- Support and coordinate troubleshooting for school leaders, teachers, and staff

- Create, maintain, and adjust master and student schedules

## Skills, Qualifications, and/or Competencies Required:

- Strong knowledge of K-12 school systems

- 4+ years of experience designing, deploying, and managing core information systems

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology or related field

- Working technical knowledge of data modeling techniques

- Excellent written and oral communication skills

- Excellent listening and interpersonal skills

- Ability to conduct research and communicate ideas effectively

- Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented

- Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
