## Description

Join Hang Seng Bank Limited as a VP, CDD Approval, Business Banking in Mongkok, Kowloon, Hong Kong.

As a reliable financial partner, Hang Seng's Commercial Banking business provides customized one-stop financial solutions to corporate customers.

**Principal Responsibilities:**

- Review and provide approval on new-to-bank account opening applications for BBD Portfolio-managed segment, ensuring compliance with Group and Bank policies, procedures, and appetites.

- Balance risk management, business needs, and operational efficiency by participating in ongoing reviews and discussions of CDD procedures and documentation.

- Liaise with CDD case managers to make sensible judgments and balance commercial interests without compromising risk controls.

- Coach junior team members to enhance their CDD and FCR knowledge.

- Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.

**Requirements:**

- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking, Business Management, or a related discipline.

- Proven experience in the banking industry, focusing on commercial banking, with a good understanding of Know Your Customer (KYC) regulatory requirements for corporate customers.

- High level of customer-centricity mindset with dedication to delivering exceptional quality services.

- Ability to motivate other managers and staff on a cross-functional basis.

- Skilled decision-maker with strong analytic, judgmental, and decision-making skills.

- Excellent written and spoken communication skills with experience in successfully influencing others and negotiating effectively.

- Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
