## Description

As the Developer Relations Manager for Claude Platform at Anthropic, you will lead the team responsible for how developers discover, onboard, build, and scale applications using the Claude Platform.

This role will be pivotal in growing our developer ecosystem, gathering crucial feedback to inform product development, and ensuring our Platform is used responsibly across a diverse range of implementations.

You will set the vision and strategy for growing and engaging Claude Platform’s developer community. Your success in this role will directly shape Anthropic's growth trajectory and market position while ensuring our APIs are used to create safe, positive outcomes.

Building strong relationships between our developer community and internal teams will be essential as we advance our mission of creating safe AI.

## Key Responsibilities

### Set the Vision and Drive Strategic Impact

- Develop and execute strategies for discovering and growing integrations on the Claude Platform

- Create content to educate developers on building high-quality integrations

- Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to incorporate developer feedback into the roadmap

- Prioritize initiatives based on data, feedback, and developer needs

### Build and Lead a World-Class Team

- Define and pioneer world-class developer relations in this field

- Recruit, inspire, and scale a high-impact developer relations team

- Foster a collaborative culture embodying Anthropic's values

- Implement scalable processes for team and developer ecosystem growth

- Establish clear growth paths for team members

### Drive Alignment and Innovation Through Cross-Functional Leadership

- Advocate for Claude Platform developer needs within Anthropic

- Translate AI capabilities into accessible educational resources with Research

- Amplify developer success stories with Communications and Marketing teams

- Ensure best practices for responsible AI use are adopted by developers

## Minimum Qualifications

- Experience building and leading developer relations or technical product teams with a proven track record of growing developer ecosystems

- Technical credibility with understanding of AI/ML and API concepts

- Hands-on technical abilities to create code demos and review developer content

- Insight into developer psychology and behavior

- Passion for AI's potential and commitment to responsible AI development

- Collaborative leadership skills

- Experience scaling teams in high-growth environments

## Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with AI developer platforms

- Public speaking experience at industry conferences

- Content creation experience

The annual compensation range for this role is $290,000-$435,000 USD.
