## Description

We are seeking a Firefighter B1 (m/f/d) to join our team at the Shell Energy and Chemicals Park Rheinland in Wesseling, Germany.

The fire brigade at the Shell Energy and Chemicals Park Rheinland ensures the protection of one of Germany's largest energy and chemical sites around the clock. With two fire stations and 85 full-time and 130 part-time firefighters, you will have a varied and responsible area of operation in a modern fire brigade.

**Your tasks:**

- Participate in hazard prevention and fire prevention of the fire brigade

- Deployment service (24-hour service) in firefighting, medical emergencies as first responder and technical assistance services

- Participation in training and further education measures

- Maintenance, care and upkeep of firefighting equipment and vehicles according to manufacturer's specifications and requirements of the fire brigade

- Checking and controlling stationary and mobile fire protection devices

- Cooperative and partnership-based collaboration with internal and external partners such as production operations, partner companies and security posts

- Work in the fire brigade's own workshops, conduct in-house training and brand safety watches

**Requirements:**

- Completed career examination according to VAP 1.2-Feu NRW (formerly middle fire department technical service) or completed training as a works firefighter (IHK certificate)

- Unrestricted fire brigade deployment service capability including respiratory protection capability according to G26.3

- Several years of professional experience as a deployment force of a works fire brigade or within a professional fire brigade desirable

- Driver's licenses class B, C, CE

- High level of teamwork and service orientation

- Reliable and independent work style

- Self-employed work and a high degree of flexibility

- Willingness to constantly continue training and further education
