**Basic Qualifications**

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an ABET-accredited university and less than 2 years' experience.

- Demonstrated experience with any of the commercial finite element analysis tools (e.g., FEMAP/NX NASTRAN, PATRAN/MSC NASTRAN, ANSYS, Abaqus, etc.).

- Strong technical writing, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

- Proven ability to thrive in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary engineering environment.

- Capable of working as part of a larger analysis team or working as the sole analyst on a project.

- U.S. citizenship and a current Final Secret Clearance,or eligibility to obtain and maintain one.

- Residence in, or willingness to relocate to, the Huntsville, Alabama area.

**Preferred Qualifications**

- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university with a 3.5 or higher GPA.

- Advanced expertise in:

- Linear and nonlinear contact FEA

- Application of nonlinear material properties to both FEA and hand calculations
