## Description

The AI Developer Experience team at Thomson Reuters builds the tools, services, and governance that enable engineers, data scientists, and subject matter experts to develop dependable AI products.

The team's work spans CoCounsel agentic evaluations and the Enterprise AI Platform, the shared foundation for building with LLMs across the company.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Design, develop, and maintain robust back-end services and APIs using Python.

- Architect and implement scalable solutions on AWS cloud infrastructure.

- Deploy and manage containerized applications.

- Ensure system reliability, security, and performance through best practices.

- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software.

- Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to technical standards.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions.

**Required Qualifications**

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

- Strong proficiency in Python and related frameworks.

- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.).

- Solid knowledge of container orchestration (ECS/EKS) with experience running workloads on AWS Fargate.

- Proficient with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Advanced English.

**Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)**

- Experience with AI agents or frameworks such as Copilot or Claude Code.

- Familiarity with microservices architecture and event-driven systems.

- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
