## Description

Ajax Systems, a leading European manufacturer of security systems, is seeking a Project Manager for its Device Team. The Device Team develops security and automation devices for Ajax, from concept to certification. The team consists of Embedded, Hardware, and Mechanical engineers working on energy-efficient solutions based on modern microcontrollers. The division focuses on scalability of production (DFM) and stability of radio communication, transforming complex engineering challenges into mass-produced products.

Responsibilities:

- Lead multiple R&D projects: plan stages, deadlines, and control their execution

- Form and clarify product requirements with technical and business teams

- Coordinate work of Hardware, Firmware, QA, Design, and Production/NPI teams

- Prioritize tasks, set goals, and monitor their execution

- Identify risks, blockers, and bottlenecks, and find ways to resolve them

- Maintain project documentation and keep it up-to-date in Jira/Confluence

- Interact with leaders of adjacent teams, production, procurement, and other stakeholders

Required skills and knowledge:

- 3+ years of experience in Project Management, preferably in a product company and/or R&D

- Experience in managing technical/engineering projects is an advantage

- Understanding of basic Project Management principles and ability to apply them in practice

- Experience working with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools

- Ability to work with large amounts of information, dependencies, and parallel tasks

- Strong communication skills: ability to negotiate, facilitate interaction, and convey goals to the team

- Leadership position and ability to drive a team without micromanagement

Nice to have:

- Experience working with Hardware/Embedded/IoT/Electronics/R&D products

- General understanding of the electronic device development cycle, from requirements and prototype to testing and mass production

- Basic understanding of electronics, radio communication, or wireless technologies

- Experience interacting with Hardware and Firmware teams

- Technical education

- Experience working with NPI, production, procurement, or product certification

- Interest in electronics and technological products
