## Description

As Manager, eCommerce, you will lead the development and delivery of eCommerce platform initiatives and enhancements, ensuring high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.

You will manage a team of developers and work closely with platform owners, business stakeholders, QA, and DevOps to deliver projects that drive best-in-class digital sales and marketing capabilities.

Focus will be on hands-on technical leadership, project delivery, and continuous improvement of the eCommerce platform's performance and reliability.

Key accountabilities include:

- Leading the eCommerce development team to deliver new initiatives, change requests, and production support with high quality and in line with business requirements.

- Providing technical leadership in solution design, implementation, and troubleshooting for eCommerce projects.

- Ensuring all deliverables adhere to technical design, coding standards, and security requirements.

- Hands-on technical implementation (coding) and concurrently overseeing development team across different offices and geographies to ensure quality deliverables.

- Overseeing source code management activities (branching, merging, commits) and ensuring compliance with established standards.

- Collaborating with platform owners, business stakeholders, QA, and DevOps to deliver regional eCommerce solutions that support business growth.

- Identifying opportunities for process optimization and continuous improvement in platform performance and operational efficiency.

- Managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables across multiple markets.

- Acting as a subject matter expert to coach and mentor team members, ensuring timely and high-quality project delivery.

- Supporting the implementation of new technologies and best practices to enhance the robustness and scalability of the eCommerce platform.

- Ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, including code scanning and vulnerability resolution prior to go-live.

Qualifications and experience required include:

- Preferably a bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline.

- Strong technical full-stack technology knowledge with proven track records (minimum 4-6 years of hands-on technical experience).

- Experience in leading medium to large project teams (3-7 members) involving end-to-end delivery.

- Experience in detailed system design, database design, and architecture.

Required knowledge and technical skills include:

- Solid hands-on technical skill with capability to troubleshoot and drill down into detail.

- Minimum 4-6 years of hands-on technical skillsets in modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., ReactJs, NextJS), TypeScript, NodeJs framework (e.g., NestJs), cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure), and Kubernetes.

- Exposure to SEO, analytics, and performance optimization.

- TDD.

- Good knowledge of system design and documentation.

- Strong interpersonal skills to engage and manage various stakeholders.

- Meticulous, committed.

- Able to work under extreme pressure and tight timelines.

- Solid experience in project delivery (minimally 3 medium to large-scale projects).

- Good experience in level 2 and 3 production support.

- Adequate security knowledge in cybersecurity aspects such as source code and penetration test scanning vulnerability resolution.

- Good experience in agile methodologies - Scrum.
