## Description

Howden Re is seeking a US Facultative Reinsurance Broker to join their growing US Facultative business team.

The successful candidate will lead and manage a portfolio of key US facultative reinsurance clients, while supporting new business development opportunities.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a portfolio of key US facultative reinsurance clients

- Develop and execute renewal and placement strategies that align with client objectives and market conditions

- Oversee the preparation of client submissions, presentations, and placement materials

- Build submission and detailed technical analyses for client portfolios

- Work with all Howden Re resources to deliver effective client service

- Negotiate contract wording and coordinate with contract drafters and legal/regulatory experts

- Assist clients with profitability analysis and development of growth strategies

Qualifications:

- 5-7 years reinsurance broking experience

- Strong technical knowledge of actuarial analysis and/or catastrophe modeling techniques and output

- Comfort in working with analysis of policy bordereaux, loss runs, triangles, ILF tables, rate changes/on-level factors

- Must be able to interpret expected loss and loss volatility metrics from exceedance probability curves

- Knowledge of insurance and reinsurance regulatory and compliance best practices

The expected annual salary for this role is $125,000-$150,000.
