## Description

Leidos' Defense Systems is seeking a talented Portfolio Manager to join the Indirect Fire Protection Capability/Force Protection Business Area. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of programs, providing guidance to program teams, and driving business growth.

**Primary Responsibilities:**

- Conduct one-on-one and group meetings with program teams to check status, provide guidance, and resolve issues

- Interface with customers to develop relationships, ensure high-quality service, and identify future business opportunities

- Provide business expertise to proposals, ensuring alignment with mission, financial, and Division strategic objectives

- Coordinate with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment and timely execution of program goals

- Identify and implement solutions to deficiencies in portfolio planning and execution

- Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team efficiency, quality, and program execution

**Basic Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or equivalent, and 12+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 10+ years of experience

- 7+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects

- Experience building strategic relationships with internal and external customers

- Demonstrated experience in leading development or production teams

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)

- Resident of North Alabama or willing to relocate to Huntsville area

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Highly organized and responsive, with ability to work independently and collaboratively

- Background in electrical engineering

- Active and current DoD Secret clearance

**Pay Range:** $131,300.00 - $237,350.00
