## Description

As a Capital Project Engineer at 3M, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with innovative people around the world and make an impact by managing project timelines and budgets, leading cross-functional teams, interacting with multiple discipline teams, estimating capital equipment and installation costs, and protecting 3M intellectual property.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering or science discipline, three years of combined experience in engineering, manufacturing, and/or project management, and experience with capital equipment and/or facilities project management.

Responsibilities:

- Manage project timelines and budgets for assigned projects

- Lead a cross-functional team to execute multiple projects simultaneously

- Interact with multiple discipline teams, including 3M plant personnel, consultants, and suppliers

- Estimate capital equipment and installation costs

- Protect 3M intellectual property

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering or science discipline

- Three years of combined experience in engineering, manufacturing, and/or project management

Preferred Qualifications:

- Five years of combined experience in capital equipment and/or facilities project management

- Prior experience with web line, converting, material handling, or automation equipment

- Experience designing, specifying, debugging, and commissioning custom equipment

- Proficient user of typical business, office, and technical software
