## Description

We are seeking an Extra Chef de Rang to join our team at Soho House Paris for September. As a Chef de Rang, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members and guests in a fast-paced environment.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Welcoming and escorting clients to their tables

- Presenting menus and detailing dishes, including portion sizes, ingredients, and allergens

- Setting tables and maintaining a clean and organised dining area

- Informing clients about daily specials and menu changes

- Offering menu recommendations based on client requests

- Taking orders using a software system or memorisation

- Communicating order details to the kitchen team

- Serving food and drinks

- Checking the cleanliness of crockery and utensils and reporting any issues

- Presenting bills to clients and processing payments

- Clearing tables and working closely with the dishwashing team

- Participating in daily meetings with restaurant staff to review menus, specials, and reservations

- Following health and safety protocols

- Providing high-quality service to ensure client satisfaction

Requirements:

- Experience as a Chef de Rang

- Ability to process payments and operate computer systems for ordering and payment recording

- Knowledge of professional software systems

- Attention to detail and ability to listen to clients

- Good personal presentation in line with our standards

- Organised and able to work efficiently and multitask in a busy service environment

- Team spirit and good interpersonal skills

- Ability to work shifts

- Professional English required

- A hospitality education is desirable
