## Description

As a Customer and Trading Manager - Convenience at Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd in Glasgow, Lanarkshire, United Kingdom, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the store, often being the only manager present and accountable for the entire shop.

Your main duties will include:

- Ensuring the store operates smoothly every day

- Managing a small team of managers

- Providing excellent customer service and coaching your team to do the same

- Delivering key performance indicators (KPIs)

- Handling employee relations issues, including disciplinaries and performance management

- Occasionally assisting other nearby convenience stores

To excel in this role, you should have:

- Previous line management experience in a fast-paced operational environment

- A track record of delivering excellent customer service and coaching colleagues

- Experience leading a team in a customer-facing environment

- Operational leadership skills, with the ability to take responsibility for store operations in the absence of senior managers

- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding KPIs

- Experience managing employee relations issues

The salary for this position is £31,700, dependent on your experience, store size, complexity, and location. Benefits include:
