## Description

We are seeking a Senior Claims Adjuster to support our claims team at our Cologne office. The successful candidate will work in full-time or part-time, focusing on film, sport, event & entertainment, and/or specialities.

As a Senior Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for:

- Handling claims independently and precisely, from initial registration to correspondence with experts, lawyers, brokers, claimants, and trusted physicians

- Administrative management of claims, including setting up claim bookings, monitoring payment transactions, initiating and conducting reclaims

- Data capture and creation of statistics, contract and portfolio profitability analyses to maintain efficient claims management

- Comprehensive accompaniment of claims, staying in close contact with all relevant stakeholders and occasionally engaging in personal contact with involved parties

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Completed insurance-related training as an insurance clerk, insurance and finance specialist, or a related field, or a degree in law or business administration

- Preferably experience in claims handling for general liability, accident, life, or health insurance, with interest in developing expertise in film, sports, events, and special insurance

- Strong English language skills for international correspondence

- Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and ability to quickly learn specific administrative programs

- Team-oriented and willing to learn, with a focus on customer needs
