## Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven professional to join our Investment Banking & Capital Markets (IBCM) division in Tokyo, Japan.

As a member of our M&A advisory and Corporate Finance team, you will play a key role in supporting the origination and execution of IB business, with a strong focus on M&A.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Supporting origination and execution of IB business, with a strong focus in M&A

- Conducting due diligence of clients and markets

- Preparing deal documentation and obtaining internal approvals

- Participating in marketing efforts, including preparation of client presentations and pitches

- Handling day-to-day client queries on all execution-related matters

- Attending client meetings independently

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- At least 6 years of relevant M&A advisory and/or Corporate Finance experience

- Fluency in both English and Japanese

- Strong quantitative skills, including extensive experience with financial models and valuation techniques

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to demanding clients

- University degree level education with strong numerical ability
