## Description

East London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a PFI/LIFT Contracts & Expiry Manager to lead the strategic management, performance, governance, and expiry planning of the Trust's PFI and LIFT contracts.

The postholder will ensure contractual compliance, oversee lifecycle and asset management obligations, manage commercial and operational risks, and lead preparations for contract handback and asset transfer.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, external advisors, and service providers, the role will provide expert contract management and commercial advice, ensuring the Trust secures value for money, protects its estate assets, and maintains safe, effective environments that support high-quality patient care.

**Job Responsibilities:** The PFI/LIFT Contracts & Expiry Manager will lead the strategic management, governance, performance, and expiry of the Trust's Private Finance Initiative (PFI) and Local Improvement Finance Trust (LIFT) contractual arrangements.

The postholder will lead the delivery of contract management activities, handback planning, lifecycle oversight, compliance monitoring, and expiry programmes to ensure the Trust's contractual, operational, financial, and estate interests are protected and achieve a successful and risk-managed contract expiry and asset transfer.

**Requirements:**

- Degree or equivalent professional qualification and experience in Estates Management, Building Surveying, Engineering, Property Management, or Construction

- Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development

- Educated to Master's level or equivalent experience

**Desirable:**

- Chartered Membership of a relevant professional body (MRICS, MCIOB, IWFM, CEng or equivalent)

- PRINCE2, MSP, or APM qualification

- Contract Management qualification

- PFI/PPP contract management training
